  1. I’m ok with this. Dudes a gamer. As long as he can get in a few innings he can pitch for the ALCS. Say it’s a blowout game 2 or something and you being Jameson in for 3-4 innings save the bullpen. All for it.

Booney could also have seen what happened with Tampa and Cleveland with that 15 inning game.

  2. Since both German and Taillon are in the bullpen, per Boone, our ALDS rotation is:

    G1 Cole
    G2 Cortes
    G3 Severino
    G4 Cole (regular rest)
    G5 Cortes (short rest)

Preferably this won’t go five games.

I’m excited to see how Taillon looks out of the pen. I’ve always thought he’d be an excellent reliever, just airing it out with his two best pitches. It makes me feel better about the shape of the bullpen to have the two extra arms in there.

  3. Something about Jamo is he has come up very huge in starts where we’ve needed him to. I trust him if he comes into a close came out of the BP. He pitches with some massive balls.

  4. Do you *have* to declare a guy as a starter or reliever for a postseason series? If not why not just keep those cards close to your chest

  5. If we’re up 2-1 going into Game 4, I think I would rather see Taillon and German combine start that game. Give the bullpen a break in case we win, and let Cole start Game 5 if necessary, or Game 1 ALCS.
