Devils had good fancy stats last year with dreadful goaltending so they’re the trendy pick to improve this year.
I still don’t see it. Good offensive team that is going to struggle defensively still. They should definitely be better but do people really see 35+ point improvement from them? Bc that’s what it’s going to take to be top 3 in the metro.
Last season was really an anomaly in that the eight playoff teams had already pretty much emerged from the pack by Christmas. This year I think things will stay a lot tighter, but Devils over Rangers is not something I have seen anywhere else.
