    I’m not mad, actually I’m happy they’re doing the right thing and letting him come back 100%. What I’m mad about is the lack of explanation

  5. When the Devils announced Nico’s hamstring strain they said he’d be re-evaluated in 10 days. How about some news Fitz?

  6. I think with all the new additions and improved defense and goaltending they could survive these first few games without Nico. The teams they’re playing in the first few games all missed the playoffs last year. If the injury is longer then they’re letting on then that’s trouble.

  7. Hopefully Nico hasn’t been hanging out with Kadarious “Glass Hamstrings” Toney. He needs to spend an offseason hanging with Marty “47 yo King of the Nordic Hamstring Curl” St. Louis.

  8. This is the only reason I’d have been fine if we drafted Cooley or Wright… We never have our 1, 2 punch down the middle.

  10. Lmao and when I said Nico was injury prone last year, all I heard was that the injuries in 2021 were “freak things” and “don’t mean anything” – ok.

    Get used to our captain playing 60 games a year tops on a good year. Not drafting Wright seems a bit questionable now.

  13. Lol I don’t know why everyone’s saying we should have drafted Wright. The season hasn’t even started yet. Wright could turn into one of those prospects that will only sign with 1-2 teams in the entire league. I rather have the guy that has amazing upside while not dealing with the drama in a few years.

    Also remember…anyone can be traded.
