My heart sank when I didn’t see Strider in the first list of pitchers. . . then I saw there was a second list. . .whew
Nit picking at this point, but I wish we had a legitimate PR. We use Heredia and he’s not what I’d consider as a speed threat.
I personally wanted another lefty in our pen but that’s just my opinion.
I’d much rather have a 3rd catcher than Adrianza. Makes it tough to play Contreras and Darnaud at the same time, which I think is our best lineup.
Only carrying 12 pitchers seems odd to me. I would have included Elder or Muller over Adrianza. I know Odorizzi is already the mop up guy here, but having an extra arm seems way more useful than having a 14th position player who is almost certainly not going to do anything in this series.
Would have rather had Elder over Odorizzi. One decent outing doesn’t give me much confidence. I like the way the rest of it shakes out. Game time can’t come soon enough
Not sure I saw Adrianza making this roster, but honestly it makes sense incase any one gets hurt and Arcia has to play elsewhere.

Something to consider carrying 14 bats: let’s say god forbid d’Arnaud gets hurt catching and Contreras has to move from DH to C. Now you lose DH. You have a lot of guys on bench to PH.
Forgot Adrianza was even on the team.

I just do not get Odorizzi being on. I don’t particularly despise the guy like some do on this sub, because he holds no value in the playoffs. He will not make a start unless someone gets hurt (in which case we could’ve added him anyway), and the stuff is not nearly good enough to play in the late innings.
The only possible good use for him is to eat innings in a blowout, but I certainly hope that’s not a situation we’re facing at any point in the NLDS.
Someone make it make sense.
