Titans are 32nd in the NFL on 4th down defense (77.8%). They’ve allowed 7/9 attempts.
That’s not #1 worst? I don’t believe it! We did it! We can finally stop people!
Washington didn’t convert a 3rd down until the 4th quarter Sunday.
Weren’t we one of the worst a season or two ago?
Not bad considering how banged up our defense is.
Remember two years ago when we had a historically bad third down defense? Pepperidge Farms remembers.
As of today we are also:
* #29 in passing offense
* #29 in receiving yards
* #30 in total offense
* #26 in total defense
That’s because it rarely takes offenses 3 downs to get a 1st down on us.
Yet we just allowed 300yards passing three weeks in a row for the first time in franchise history.
What a weird dichotomy
Anyone remember a couple years ago when we were like dead last in this statistic? Geez, it was painful.
I hate to be pessimistic, but so far we have played Giants (Jones before he got good), Raiders (McDaniels lol), Colts (turnstiles and a statue), and Commanders (Wentz lol). Barring the Bills, we haven’t played a really good offense yet.
My how the turns table
