[Iain MacIntyre] The Canucks have the players to win – now they need a winning culture

The media guys really love to peddle this talking point because of how vague of a term it really is. Like how the hell is anyone outside the locker room supposed to know what “culture” they have as a team. Can only go on whatever rumors the media supplies us with anyway. I’d argue with the injuries we currently have what we lack are the players and not the culture.
There’s a lot of question marks on this team, doesn’t seem right to say we have the players to win when they haven’t proven anything in the past.
Lol. Yeah, I look at this defense and go: ” that’s a contender right there.”
Hilarious. Most good managers would see a position of strength (forwards) and use that to address a position of weakness (defence). We just run it all back and keep everyone up front.
Call it what it is Ian — this organization has gone from one of the most incompetent management teams on the planet, to one that demonstrates competency, cap management and seems to own a fucking watch.
Still have an idiot owner, but at least the players can have some confidence in management.
These players have always wanted to win but never had the tools to succeed.
Firing Benning was the best thing that ever happened to this team.
