[Tom Pelissesro] Commanders QB Carson Wentz is dealing with a biceps tendon strain suffered in last week’s loss to Tennessee, per sources. Wentz is not 100%, but he’ll start tonight against the Bears and then try to heal up with extra rest coming off the Thursday night game.

  1. I know some people go with the ‘want to play them at full strength’ thing, but i’ll take whatever advantage we can get.

  2. It feels like in past years, the headline following games like this would be “Injured Wentz leads team to victory behind season high 450 yards passing.” Hopefully Eberflus can put those days behind us.

  3. I want Carson Wentz to play because he’s always a turnover or two waiting to happen. He just can’t play conservatively.

  4. Why would they start him at all? I’ll never understand why teams risk the longevity of their biggest assets like this instead of just letting them rest and heal.
