Could have used PS elevation they must like him to some degree to risk him on waivers again if this was only going to be temporary.
Definitely would’ve guessed Taylor but not mad an actual draft pick won the spot. Excited to see him and Strong get some playing time
One Harris goes down, another Harris goes in
Makes sense with this gameplan. Better to have a backup power back to ride the ground game. Stevenson and Young can operate in the passing game
If anyone didn’t see preseason, this guy did ok. He’s a power back and seemed like Damien Harris with less agility and more weight to him. The 1 glaring downside is he fumbled a few times. With ball security being a premium, I would expect to only see him in emergency situations.
Huh, I would’ve thought it’d be Taylor but given what we’re doing as an offense it makes a lot of sense to elevate a power back.
As a SC Gamecock fan, I couldn’t be more psyched. KVNHRSSZN is upon us.
Seems telling that BB doesn’t seem to want to have JJ Taylor play a role beyond preseason. Not sure why he is still given a PS slot though. RBs are supposed to be one of the most plug and play positions in the NFL, so he seems to have had a bit of a long leash for showing a potential role on the field.
I’m a bit excited to see what he can do. He was very impressive in college and from what we’ve heard, looked decent in camp.
Bill only takes people with certain names.
