Calgary Flames Hockey is Back!

I am still hyped from last night, having a 3rd period lead and we didn’t crumple. Can’t help but wonder how last year’s team would have handled the same adversity. The dome was electric, the new faces of the team showed up and everyone looked like they were clicking. Bring on the BoA on Saturday!

    Of all the positives from last night, I’m actually super excited about Kadri. Turns out dude is really good at this hockey thing.

  4. I haven’t watched the NHL in a few years, which makes me a bit upset as I held season tickets for years. I found the NHL too frustrating to support, and someone said “they’ll never change unless you cancel”, so I haven’t watched a game since 2019.

    But my wife watched yesterday, and said “crazy, to win the first game against the defending champs in a rebuild.”

    And y’all, I was quite proud of that

  8. I knew nothing about Weeger except for reading about how pumped we should all be to have him… he’s deadly! He made a huge impression on me!

    Still super nervous about Kadri and wasn’t very excited about him initially – his suspension history and reputation etc. But he played really well and I am willing to be won over 🙂.

    Hubie… I am all in on! I love how he’s just totally embraced our city, our club and he’s gonna be huge for our culture . PUMPED.

    the rest of of amazing team has jump and they looked hungry … ive missed these guys over the summer!

    Haven’t been this excited about a flames campaign since, oh last year!!! But somehow this feels different and there is actual, honest to God, hope happening. GFG 🔥🔥🔥🔥

  12. The new guys seem to be really giving it their all and really want to play for this team which is amazing to see. However, it’s the regular guys I’m most impressed with, they really seem have come back this season looking to step up their play and take the game to the next level. Sutter was saying last night he was really impressed with Dube and how hard he’s worked to bulk up during the off season so he can be both physically bigger and take a bigger role in the game. I think that sort of effort is seen across all the guys and fuck me it really does give a man hope.
