  3. 3 copes for season opener

    1. Bones + Ish will be the bench backcourt

    2. Braun is ahead of Reed in the rotation

    3. Zeke plays over DJ or Green

  4. Pretty wild how the only fanbase that had someone stroll into our game thread during a preseason game was the Warriors. What a bunch of cunts

  5. After watching a game where both teams seemingly wanted to win, I’m so happy bball is back.

  6. Had to call it a night at halftime. It was 11:30 I think. I’ll risk the sleep for regular season but pre season not so much. Plus at work today. Our defense looked really good compared to past years in the first half. Looks like everyone played well for the minutes. We got the win so that’s something. Only thing I’m confused about, wtf are you talking about alien tape infomercial? I watched on espn2 and had some cooking shit but no idea where the alien tape came from!

  7. The fact that we have 2 guys we can throw at dynamic guards gives me so much hope for this season. So nice to be looking at a Nuggets team that won’t get eaten alive by guards.

  8. Something that bothers me way more than it should is when people compare Bones to Lou Williams/Jamal Crawford/Jordan Clarkson, especially in a way that implies that’s his ceiling.

In Bones’ *rookie* season he was a more efficient shooter than *any* of those players have been for their *careers*. Clarkson at 50.7% eFG% for his career, Crawford and Williams sub 48%, Bones was at 51.8% in his rookie season. Bones also averaged more assists per 36 minutes than any of them have averaged for their careers. The same is true for rebounds.

Finally all three of those guys float around ~40% 3PAr while Bones was 62.7% in his rookie season, pretty big difference in shot selection. Maybe an example of why sometimes “eye tests” may be misleading if you don’t look at the actual numbers.
