October 15th, 2022, had EVERYTHING in in the baseball world. The Phillies clinched with the upset win over the Braves, then the Astros took their series with an 18-inning win against the Mariners. Then we had the Guardians late comeback against the Yankees, with the Padres finishing off the Dodgers to cap it all off!

  1. Whoever wins the NLCS this year will win the World Series because the cheating Asterisks never learned their lesson as they eliminated the Mariners. They're pathetic and I hope karma will come back to haunt them, like how the Padres did to the fraudulent Dodgers.

  2. nothing makes me sadder than wanting to watch the padres, but then having to look at the worst uniform/color combo in all of professional sports.

  3. as a Dolphins and Mets fan, I know how it feels to be the underdog. The Padres (and even the Phillies) taking down the goliaths of baseball as well as the Guardians' postseason run has been wild. This has by far been one of the most electric Octobers of the 21st century.

  4. Just think about a couple years ago, no one in the stands, weird energy, masks on everyone, the eerie silence. Dodgers get a snore of a championship.

    And . . . this.

    This is baseball.

    So glad to be back.

  5. The fricking pitching in the Stros Mariners game. It took 2 Astros lock down starters and our top relievers. Epic. Now with the new balanced schedule, everyone will have to deal with this new Mariners team. I'm going to predict no 100 win teams next year because of the change.

  6. I have to believe that owners will revisit the playoff format in the winter meetings since it appears the teams with byes were at disadvantages with the layoffs. If Cleveland advances , 3 of 4 WC winners will be in LCS. Astros swept, but it was one pitch in each game or it could have been 4. Rust seems to be disadvantageous, especially in a sport where players are used to playing every day, as routines. Pitchers are particularly routine-oriented.
Of course if it’s drama and parity they’re looking for, they’ve got it, and may not want to change anything at all.

  7. Honestly at this point, the rest of the season is gravy to me. I wanted the Phils to get to the dance, and hopefully get a home playoff game. Never expected then to knock off the World Champs and have a shot at the WS, lol. Good series Braves. Hope it's us chasing you next year for the division crown next season, and not the Mets 🤣

  8. Sorry to say, but it was rather infuriating to watch the games broadcasted on FS1 because they kept playing a disgusting, racist political commercial slamming "Democrats" over immigration at the Southern border – casting blame for "child rapists" entering the U.S.
..Propoganda I'm sure the MLB Players Association would not approve of.

  9. I’m a little torn with this one, I’m a Braves fan…and yeah, it’s that that the season is over.

But the Phillies got me into baseball, when I was a kid I watched all the Mike Schmidt documentaries and stuff, 2008 was an amazing year for them. I don’t even know if I should root for them or be sad because my Braves got eliminated
