1. This reeks of Trumpism. Accept the loss, pick yourselves up, figure out what went wrong and adjust for next year. Not accepting the loss makes you look pathetic.

2. Whats amazing is that franchise has done so poorly in the offseason. They refuse to see the problem in the mirror. With the original playoff formula, they still sucked in October. Fuck LA, fuck**ed** the Dodgers

   That said, I spent some time on their sub the other day and there are quite a few of them that have acknowledged their franchise is a perennial choker.

7. And another thing: when they won in 2020, they said they deserved it despite the short season because the playoffs were so much longer and harder to get through. But now that they’ve lost in those same expanded playoffs, all of a sudden they need to be reformed because they’re unfair to the good teams?

   Their regular season record won them the right to play a team they had a .737 winning percentage against. They also got home field advantage and they got to start their ace against our #4. Cumulatively, that’s got to add up to what, a 10-1 Dodgers advantage? Yet now that the Padres have won, we’re just supposed to pretend none of that mattered.
