1. This team is something special this year.

   Trying to keep it in check, but hot damn I’m excited!

2. Didn’t watch but the box score looks kinda ugly

3. this offense is lethal when aggressive. Imagine once Trocheck establishes more chemistry with the team.

4. Defense wasn’t good but it’s less “getting caved in the zone for minutes at a time” bad and more “weak passes/dumb giveaways” bad, which is easier to fix. I have faith in Gallant and the talent on this D-Core to fix it up quickly.

5. I love when Vally breaks down the Power Play goals. He’s right, how the F do you defend that?

9. This team has the ability to piece it all together this year. This is exciting. Fil and Kakko look ready. Trocheck was the perfect addition. They didn’t give a complete performance tonight, but still won solidly. Let’s go Rangers

10. This offense might be one of the best that the league has ever seen. Our defense has a lot of work to put in before they’re championship ready, but I have faith they’ll put the work in.

11. A game like this last season and our dicks would all be so hard. Kakko and Laf goals. 4 points from bread, 2 goals for Mika. 40 something shots. We never had offense like this.

    Obviously they need to tighten it up defensively but I will never complain about the team shooting as much as they are.

23. Was there live. Total cat and mouse situation. Easily could have been like 9-2 at one point. Rangers totally out everything’d them at what looked like half speed. Hard to be critical, but I will mention that Vesey is ass. Guy is washed.

31. When I first sat down on my couch to watch the game I wasn’t at all aware that we’d be doing boners.

37. Unpopular Opinion: Sammy Blais had a really good game tonight. He may have not scored a goal, but he looked good. The Ducks have loads of young talent that are gonna be studs. Defensively the team looked sloppy, but that can be improved. Overall, Rangers win, Mika is on fire, Bread doing Bread things, and the two most important things; Kakko(after further review) scored “wow it’s a nice goal” and ahem… IT’S A POWER PLAY GOAL!!. On to the DQ reunion game. LGR

    Oh I forgot; Vatrano scored twice…. (whispers in ear) “Excuse me, I appologize, Trocheck scored.” Haha

41. If I had to nitpick, that’s a lot of goals given up. But it’s great to see the offense playing like this after suffering through the last quarter of last season when they couldn’t score on even strength.

42. I think everyone is on the same page about defense, theyre getting too aggressive and losing their man to cover on the zone when they trek too deep, creating breakaways and chances. This may seen minor in spite of a win but it is exactly to a tee the problem they had early playoffs and then they had to come back down 3-1 against the pens. You dont want to be playing extra games in the playoffs if you dont have too.

43. Defense was a little sloppy but they were playing with a 3 goal lead for basically the final 25-30 minutes of the game.

    The offense is humming and the defensemen and goalie are too talented to give up 4 goals on a consistent basis so I’m not super worried

44. Should we be concerned that Kakko only has two goals after four games?

45. I love all of our defenseman but we clearly need to improve. Extremely conflicted.
