It’s been rough and it’s been tough, but look where we are.

  1. Chargers Chiefs and the Jets of course! What a weird season except the raiders being in last FTR

  2. Love seeing this positive energy from you, jerwindames!

    (Edit: that wasn’t sarcasm.)

  3. If you told me we would be tied with the jets 6 weeks into the season I would not have been thrilled. Kudos.

  4. What a wierd year for football. Tied with the jets. We could easily be 5-1 and we could easily be 1-5. Idk anymore.

  5. Seriously, and without some insane KC luck and an injured QB we’re almost definitely 5-1

I’ve never seen a fanbase so upset about being tied for 2nd in the AFC.

  6. This year’s 4-2 feels a lot worse than last year’s 4-2. But that team missed the playoffs, so who knows

  7. I rather stack ugly Ws instead of climbing out of a hole for a possible playoff spot. We’ll get Bosa back in the second half of the season, Keenan Allen will be back and picking up clutch 3rd downs. Just need the coaching staff to step up and see where the season goes.

  8. We’re the only team 4-2 or better with more points against than points for. I think we’re allowed to be a little hesitant.

  9. Yep! Here’s where we are:

Edit: as the comments say, Bye is week after next, not this week. So ignore that stuff.

    – We’re two games over .500, 2-1 in the division, 4-2 in the conference, and 4-2 overall.

    – Herbert has another 13 days of rest. By the next game he should be close to 100%.

    – Linsley will be back for the next game.

    – Bosa will probably be back in 3-5 games time.

    – Keenan will be back for the next game.

    – We have time for Lombardi to figure out this offense in the next two weeks.

    – Our ST is winning us games. This is a thing that good teams do. Win tough games with ST. That is a huge step for us.

    – Nobody cares who is good in September or October. It’s about getting into the dance and being good in December and January. The Bengals started 5-4 and were fairly poor until late Dec last year and made the Super Bowl.

Their wins were against the following QBs: Kirk Cousins (OT), Big Ben’s corpse, Trevor Lawrence under Urban Meyer, Jared Goff and Lamar Jackson.

Their losses were against Justin Fields, Aaron Rodgers, Zac Wilson and Baker Mayfield.

That is not an impressive start, but they turned it around.

    – I’d much rather be 4-2 and underpeforming than the Charger’s normal MO of being very good but being 2-4 and losing some heartbreakers in random fashion. There’s no pictures on a box score or an NFL standings table.

  10. Imagine what you would have felt if somebody told you week 6 we would have the same record as the Jets…

  11. Hey we are actually winning tight games. A few years ago we would have done some very dirty things for that. Something to be happy about
