Philly fans obviously have a specific reputation, and some players probably shy away from playing there, but all you really have to do is play hard and embrace the city. Then they will go to bat for you. (And maybe don’t pass up a wide open dunk)

I love when teams reflect the city they’re in. This Phil’s club reminds me of the early 90s team with Dykstra, Kruk, Mitch Williams, Curt Schilling and the like. Brash dudes who had a Philly swagger.
Terrell Owens read from the same script Harper has when he came here and the “Philly Phaithful” ate that garbage up. Until things went south. The same thing will happen with Harper when the Phil’s dont make the playoffs for another 10 years because they cant afford his contract AND decent pitching. His true personality will come through. Just a matter of time.
