  4. I always think that stealing the puck from an opponent must be very difficult from how little I see it happen cleanly.

    Then Guhle arrives and straight up pickpockets the puck as if playing Skyrim. Makes it seem effortless.

  5. His skating is so damn good. Being 6’2 and moving like that, the floor is just so high.

    As soon as he’s eligible for an extension (at the end of next season?), just lock him up like Buffalo did with Samuelsson (Guhle obv way better). 8 years at 6-7M would be such a steal

  6. Kaiden Ghule will peak when he is age 24 (according to stat averages). Slafkovsky will be 22, Caufield and Dach will be 25, and Suzuki will be 27. We are building up to the 2026/27 season.

  9. Especially amazing considering he’s probably injured or at least banged up. He missed time from both of the previous games prior to this one.

  10. One thing I like about him is on the short breakout passes in his own zone, he gives the puck and immediately skates hard to open ice to give the carrier an option. Not many D in Montreal do that and it gives so many options on the zone breakouts.

  11. Wow, seeing these highlights you can see how dominant he was. He broke up play after play and started a majority of the breakouts that ended up in a chance in the offensive zone.

    When we picked him I was not happy. I thought it was a shitty “safe pick”, and as you may know, safe picks rarely amount to anything. I don’t think anyone could’ve predicted his offense to become a major part of his game the way it is shaping up to be.

    Honestly that is some of the nicest stick checking I can remember from a habs dman.

  15. If he manages to score at least 40 pts he should at the very least be a calder finalist.
