[Rapoport] Sources: #Jets WR Elijah Moore, frustrated with his role and usage, has asked for a trade. The team has no plans at all to trade him. The former second rounder was targeted once in the win over the #Packers, but the play was negated by a penalty.

  1. No thanks. Jets are 4-2. Complaining about targets when you’re losing…ok. Complaining while your team is off to best start in what 10 yrs? Red flag

    Toney had the right attitude when asked about snaps (the one game he played…)

  2. I’d be tight if Corey Davis was playin over me.. but I’d keep my mouth shut and try to practice harder. bitching and asking out doesn’t help? Unless it does.. idk

  3. A young team finding it identity, playing hard, learning how to win…you have to immediately get rid of any egos like that. It sets a precedent and it stops a toxic vibe from infiltrating young impressionable minds.

    His team is winning and he’s bitching. FOH

  4. I’ve seen rumors of Jerry Jeudy as well,according to some sources is he’s unhappy with Russell Wilson’s play, and of course there’s the Dj Moore trade rumors.

    Both could give the giants a much needed boost at WR.

  5. People can be unhappy at a job even if the company is succesful.

    The Jets as a team are winning but as a starting WR getting no looks sucks. And it’a not like Moore isn’t getting open, Wilson for various reasons does not look like a good option at targetting his talented young recievers in a necessary manner.

    The Jets recievers have put up worse numbers than the Bears recievers in the last few weeks – that sucks for guys looking to reach performance based incentives and playing for multiple years in the league.

  6. The Jets wanted a 3rd for Denzel Mims I think. To get Moore out of them, Giants would probably have to give up part ownership of the franchise. I don’t see it happening.

  7. Give me Jerry Jeudy out of the reasonable trade options. I loved him out of college, and according to advanced statistics he gets open a high rate and gets yac over expected at a high rate. He apparently has drop issues, but a new uniform and better coaching could help with that, also drops is not something i remember being an issue in college

  8. Hey just hang out in the locker room when the Jets travel. Big Blue will certainly give you a shot.

  9. Under no circumstances should the Giants give away ANY draft capital for Moore, or any receiver. Sign a guy off the street. Schoen should not make the same boneheaded decision Gettleman made and not finish a rebuild.

  10. We shouldn’t be using any of our draft capital at this point in time for trades. We are still in a rebuild, despite the winning coming way ahead of schedule, we still have a number of roster issues to address this off-season. I know it may be tempting to get some WR help right this moment, but we shouldn’t lose sight of the forest for the trees.

  11. Giants would have one of the shortest starting WR groups next year I’ve ever seen:

    * Toney: 5’11”
    * Robinson: 5’8”
    * Moore: 5’9”

  12. Not blaming this guy for being upset. Winning games doesn’t pay the bills when you’re uninvolved and I’m not gonna blame someone playing a sport as risky and demanding as football when they wanna be able to prove their worth, especially when most metrics say he is a very talented player

    I’d give a 5th or maybe 4th for him, gotta be careful about taking on money with this regime having cap space for the first time next summer
