  2. We played a very good game man. I feel like AD getting that freak fall over Kawhi and hobbling the rest of the game really killed us.

    But I really loved the defense they showed tonight, holding this Clips team to under 105 pts is very good defense. This was the best defensive performance i’ve seen from this team since 20/21.

  10. This team just doesn’t have enough shooters or guys that can go get a bucket to make any noise. Which is what literally everyone said before the season. Shame…

  11. I can’t believe how many people here keep saying why are they taking 3s or jump shots at the end there. As soon as Russ was in, I knew the game was over. Russ’s defender just leaves him open to guard other players. Just pack the paint and it’s over. I don’t care how good Russ played on D. It’s 4v5 out there on offense whenever he’s on the floor. Get him out of this team.

    The loss sucks.

    But I came out of that game feeling more confident than sad or hopeless. There were quite a few positives which I was very impressed with. The hustle and effort was good to watch. They ran some good plays. It’s just that when you shoot like crap, there’s not much you can do. And that is expected when you have bad shooters.

    All on the front office really. What they decide to do.

  24. They played hard asf tonight and thats at least a huge positive. Sucks about the loss because it was right there. Just one fucking shooter on this team and this game is a dub.

  36. It was a good game. Russ is clearly focused on defense finally and his shot selections were good for his normal %s (though obviously the results weren’t). Walker and AR seemed like they have good chemistry, AD was getting fed and making some nice plays, and LeBron was playing well on both ends for the most part. Saw a lot more to like than the the first game.

  37. It should be a crime to take a 2020 team with AD, LeBron, KCP, Kuzma, Caruso, THT, and an upcoming first round pick and turn it into the monstrosity that they have now. I think a random redditor could have done a better job of constructing the team, first and foremost by not completing one of the most obviously stupid trades in NBA history.

    I’ve been a Lakers fan straight through since 1962 — for 60 years — but I am going to take a break from the team until they at least manage to trade Westbrook. It’s just too painful to watch.
