Aged like milk. But Glennon and Fromm were HORRIBLE.
I mean there is no way to know what would have happened but I think most fans were pretty spot on with “we aren’t a veteran QB away from the Super Bowl so why do it?”

Ian O’Connor is one of the worst. Maybe only just as bad as him is Jackie MacMullan.
Even if Russ was playing at his best, there’s no reason to do this for the Giants.
If we’re going for imaginary timelines I’ll take the one where we drafted Mahomes please.
Counterpoint: Wilson would have Kafka and Daboll as his coaches and not this dude Hackett who obviously stinks and will be fired after a season.

I understand that we all couldn’t really know just how much Wilson would fall off, but how did a professional reporter think for one second we could have afforded Wilson? Look at that Denver contract – $250 million???
There is no reality in which this giants team could have made that happen, even if we wanted him desperately (which we didn’t) and “did everything we could” to get him.
Nooo don’t do that to the Giants
There were plenty of people on this sub that really wanted to trade for him.

I can’t imagine how distraught I’d be with this team if we had russ playing like garbage on a huge contract while wasting assets to get him in the first place
If it wasn’t clear already, the sports media’s job is to create disasters and then write about what a disaster everything is.
