  1. Honestly what a great performance by everyone. Jokic is a so goddamn good, but we already knew that. The team around him showed up. KCP and Brown made huge shots, Braun is a really good defender, MPJ made some shots and Bones was electric (except that turnover). Even DJ showed up. This is a good squad

  2. During the first preseason game, I wrote, “I’m not saying Braun isn’t an NBA player, but I am saying it’s possible.”

    I was wrong.

  3. Kind of lost in all that chaos at the end is KCP having a freaking great game. He’s got more of that Barton microwave scoring ability than I thought, along with the other positives of course

  4. Bruce missed a couple passes from Jok early in the game but caught the one that mattered most

  5. Those maybe two seconds where Bones turned it over right to Poole for a layup then Jokic hits Brown for a triple double completing dunk was so many conflicting emotions in such a short period of time I think I went catatonic for a moment.

  6. Such a great road win! Nuggets teams of old probably would’ve folded through the end of the 3rd quarter. But this team has a bench that put up 38 points against the champs. I’m really excited about what this season will mean to these guys once they start clicking on all cylinders.
    GO NUGGETS!!!!!!!

  7. How bout joke driving the lane with the dunk. Easy play to overlook but man that was hype

  8. Can we talk about that retaliation assist at the end, Jokic to Brown. Shut the door on Dubs’ celebration immediately.

  9. Great Win. Big ups to Christian Braun for clocking a team leading +14 in his debut, tied with Jeff and Davon +14. Braun and Reed both had 3 steals each.

I’m not going to feel entirely comfortable until I hear tomorrow that Jokic was not injured or sprained. Even though he wasn’t limping.

  10. Brown playing for BKN under that insane crazy environment and pressure was gonna speeden his growth as a player wherever he went

  11. This kind of mirrored our game vs warriors after Christmas last year.

Jokic with another game saving play, mvp as per.

Mpj quintessential experience amazing shooting lost on D but clutch block

    Bruce is legit, unbelievably legit

    Kcp very good

AG just needs to stand in the dunkers spot

  12. My two favorite plays from this game:

Play around 7:45 in the 4th. Jokic brings up the ball to the right side high post. Nuggets fake they’re gonna play around Jeff Green and Bones screening each other. Warriors fall completely for the decoy and leave KCPoop completely open in the oposite corner. Jokic throws a bullet to KCPoop. KCPoop swishes in the 3. Gorgeous play design and execution.

MPJ locking Steven Curry the fuck down 1 on 1 and stuffing him at the rim late in the 4th. Best defensive play I’ve ever seen out of Michael Porter Jr. Just from seeing that play you would never guess he has had back issues.

  13. Good win but holy shit 10000x FUCK that bitch ass who rly could’ve ended Joker’s szn tonight even for that dirty ass pussy that shit was so dangerous and unnecessary and joker could’ve absolutely been seriously hurt on that play like we’re talking season-ending injury that kinda serious whatever respect I had for that bitch ass klutchmond is def gone now we keeping that same energy here

    *thanks for attending my rant*

  14. It’s a shame Malone doesn’t play rookies man, I think Christian Braun really would’ve made an impact tonight

  15. When was the last time we won a game where the starters were all negative?

I feel like last season we blow that lead completely.

  16. Braun is so nice. Rare rookie who you can just immediately throw in a big game and get amazing perimeter defense out of. Going to be a massive part of this team.

  17. Christian Braun has some clamps and his defensive fundamentals and foot movement is insanely good. He’s got a couple buckets now and I really believe his shot will start falling. Amazing draft choice.

  18. Great win. MPJ was incredible. That defensive play on Curry gives me made hope for the future. Brown was as good as I thought he could be when we signed him. Braun shut down Poole too.

That said, Malone’s coaching down the stretch was absolute dogshit and KCP took bad shot after bad shot (including some that went in).

There was zero situational awareness exhibited from KCP (and even Brown at times). The entire second half the Warriors were trying to bait anyone that wasn’t Jokic or MPJ into shooting and Malone never adjusted. Remember when the Nuggets failed to hold onto the ball at the end of the game in game 7 of the Jazz series and it nearly led to a Connelly game winner? There were like 3 of those moments tonight.

Part of this will be solved by chemistry development, by Bones continuing to get minutes, ext. But as deeply as I believe the Nuggets have to the talent to win a title, I also think Malone is just flawed enough as a coach to ensure we don’t.

  19. Downvote me if you must but I wouldn’t be surprised if we lose to OKC tomorrow. Such is the way of the NuggLyfe.

  20. What a game 😀 got to see end cause I was working. Glad they got the win, and one day I’ll have to make it to oracle :p would have been a good one to see!

  21. mpj looking like a cone on defense and then clamping curry late in the game all whilst shooting like 75% was the funniest, most quintessential mpj shit 😭

  22. We should also be talking about how the bench changed their narrative in one game. The guys got their shit together.

  23. That felt good now that the stress of that actual fucking buffoonery at the end has worn off
