  1. Shout out to Marky, rough first period but fuck he stood on his head at the end there and was a huge part in getting that W.

Also I fucking love Kadri 😍😍😍

  2. Who would’ve thought after playing colorado, Edmonton, Vegas, Buffalo, and Carolina to start the season our only loss would be Buffalo

  3. Coleman sweating bullets at the end there. He was about to be baling hay for the remainder of Sutters contract if we got scored on.

  4. Not their A game but still found a way to beat a really good team

Also I think that was Markstroms best game of the year

  5. Heck yeah bounced back from a rough start and had some great penalty kills, Marky making some huge saves too 🔥🔥🔥

  6. That was a fucking good game by the flames for real. Rough start and first period and then just a complete adaptation. Then Carolina got some seriously good looks in the third including a 4min PP and the flames just shut the door. Hard not to be optimistic about this team rn that was just a solid performance. Marky settled in too

  7. Markstrom and Toffoli shutting the haters down tonight. Our 4th line was our best one tonight, the D-men still look a bit lost, not ideal but at least this was a step in the right direction for Marky.

Oh and we have our first jersey on the ice in Vancouver, what a night.

Still, Huberdeau-Lindholm-Toffoli isn’t really working. That line is missing a puck carrier. Was evident in the OT period when Andersson was out there with Lindy and Huberdeau. Those guys have some (incredible) strengths, but NZ puck carrying to zone entries aren’t any of them. Flip side, second line is fun as hell right now but their skill sets are too similar. Would love to see Mangiapane have a spin with Huberdeau & Lindholm.

Props to Markstrom for locking it down in the 3rd and OT. PK was huge tonight as well.

Ps. Are Buffalo our new overlords? LOL Canucks

  9. I take back anything bad I said about Marky. After rough start he was beauty. That was a solid review at the end of second. Totally would have been a different game without it.

  10. Kadri is by far the best off-season Flames acquisition. He is always electric. Once Lindy and first line starts clicking, we will be unstoppable.

  11. Kadri jerseys, get your Kadri jerseys, 7 years of the nastiest 2c in the league, time to get your Kadri jerseys
