I don’t know how Tomlin lets Canada get away with the same shit every week. Proves to me that Tomlin thinks these game plans are good.
The good old run, run, pass, punt.
I honestly don’t understand this team. We do the same shit every week and they just expect it to eventually work.
I want to be a fly on the wall for an opposing teams staff when they game plan for this offense
Run. Run. Deep pass down the sideline on 3rd and 3.
So far, we look awful on offense, defense, and special teams.
That was tough to watch after the Dolphins walked up the field easily.. and are doing it again now.

Yep. I was feeling optimistic after last week. How do you watch that tape and see all the different things that WORKED, and then come out like that?

If he isn’t gone after this week then we might as well start rooting for the Bengals
Current players and vets will say the first few drives are the easiest (I think it was Deebo Samuel who said it recently?) because everything is planned out. They know what they’re going to run.

Gonna see this man vanish during the bye week after the offense as a whole beats him with soap socks.
You gotta take the playcalling off of him. He nearly killed that scoring drive with that boneheaded end around followed by toss plays. Kenny had to run for the big first and then hit Pickens to save it.
But just the fact that he’s successfully throwing to Pickens, Claypool, DJ, all on that drive and we decide to run a toss on a second and long. Like….fuck. Pickett bailed Canada out on that drive.
I’ve been patient with the guy and even defended him, but his concepts suck and his playcalling is atrocious.
Tomlin talking about “exercising patience” with the offense is pretty much “do the same thing every week and eventually we’ll get lucky and it might work.”
I can’t remember the last game I saw before tonight where both a coach and a player were obviously and openly contemptuous of a play call on camera
Matt Canada is useless
I love the part where they throw towards the sideline every play or throw backwards as if they don’t know what direction they’re supposed to go in
