30th in ppg allowed. Absolutely unacceptable from a head coach who’s biggest “strength” is defense

Gonna need more than just PPG to dunk on the defense. The offense has been so bad that we’re getting killed every week in time of possession, no defense could hold up to that consistently.
Yeah, I’ve defended this coaching staff, but we are undoubtedly underperforming. That’s on coaching. Injuries definitely play a part, but I don’t think our offensive scheme has been good the last two weeks and defense crumbles at every third and long. It’s almost as if the opposing coaching staff knows exactly what we’re going to do at the most crucial moments of the game.
Context matters. Everyone trying to blame the defense for the offensive incompetence is baffling.
How much is this on the offense? Consecutive drives of three and outs killing us
People will find a way to make excuses for this coaching staff. “Defensive mastermind” my ass
Is it because Bosa is out and JC underperformed, or because our depth sucks that bad?
Like why even have him? There’s no benefit when the team is 30th in PPG allowed. We’d be better served having an offensive guru HC like an Andy Reid
Staley is only an expert at selling you on shit. He pretends to know what he’s talking about and people fall for it. I fell for it but no more
WHY IS HE STILL EMPLOYED???
It’s really strange because this defense passes the eye test in ways they wanted to improve. They’re not getting gashed play after play by running backs, they’re containing yards after catch, they’re tackling decently well, and they’re creating splash plays in their favor with sacks and TFLs.
Yet they’re coming up poorly with just the worst possible timing. Now Seattle deserves credit for running very well throughout the day with Walker, and same goes for the Texans & Jaguars with young RBs who are studs too. But those big run plays are just killers and I don’t know how they’re allowing them when they do pretty well to defend the run play-by-play.
We lost Chenna, added Mack, SJD, AJ, BC, KVN, Fox, and some others yet we’re actually worse… this team is truly mind boggling

Staley is like a little boy wearing his dad’s oversized shoes and jacket. He thinks he can do it but it’s just pathetic. Clean house.
Yeah Bosa and Jackson have been out, but you have legit talent on the roster. Many teams wish they had Derwin James, Khalil Mack, SJD, and Asante. Somehow, we still get torched by every single team we play.
