Not saying Halak played well, and while Tarasov had an excellent game, I feel like these stats don’t tell the whole story.

These stats suggest we should have won but the only time I felt like the Rangers were the better team was when the puck was on Panarin’s stick.
Ouch.
That’s an ouchie.
So Halak cost us the game essentially.
8 high % chances? Yeah I don’t know about that. Kind of questioning this tbh. Felt like we had half that tbh.

We knew Halak was terrible yesterday but I think there was also just a general sluggishness to most of the players out there, despite us technically outchancing them. I wonder how many of those chances were generated by panarin alone
