  1. That’s a good thing, don’t let Preller make the mistake of resigning him, again. Really solid first half when pitchers were pumping high heaters on him and he was turning on them. WRC+ of 93 the last two months of the season on an increase in BABIP.

  2. He did well this year. Good eye, making pitchers work. I expect him to capitalize. Good for him! Much love

  3. I love Pro, I understand him wanting to test the market but he does have really good chemistry with the team, wouldn’t be surprised at all if he’s back.

  4. I think his contract is about right where it is. I don’t blame him testing the market though. This is the best he’s been in years. Gotta try and capitalize on it.

  5. great guy and player, but this would open up the OF for Tatis even more. he’s expandable, but i hope he gets paid.

  6. I feel like he’s worth right around the $7.5 million mark. But if he tests the market and then comes back, that probably means he couldn’t get more than $7.5 million. So do we offer him the same? Less? More because preller likes him?

  7. He is a decent player but also replaceable.

The only concern with him leaving is his relationship with tatis. Seemed like he was one of the few that stood up for tatis this year. We are going to need tatis next year if we want to go to the next level.

I just want them to have a clear plan on what they are going to do with tatis upon his return. I dont think a platoon of positions is a good idea. Either he is an outfielder or an infielder. Roster construction needs to be clear on where he is playing so he can prepare properly.

  8. Nimmo is available! Better fielder and better hitter. Tatis in RF, Soto in LF and Nimmo in CF works for me.
