I have to wonder if there is a character or off the field issue at play here. Certainly he didn’t seem like a world beater but he seemed good enough to keep a roster spot on the Texans of all places. Maybe he just doesn’t want to put in the work.
What’s going on with Julio? If they feel like he can’t play more than 1-2 games this year, they should release him and pick Johnson back up….
Lot of people the last few weeks have been saying we shoulda kept Johnson. Here’s the truth: Johnson sucked. Remember the number of times last season Brady had to set him pre-snap because he didn’t know the playbook? Johnson was dumb as rocks and couldn’t even justify himself a spot on the Texans.
Hope he can find a place somewhere. I’ll always look back fondly on some of those catches he made on our championship run.
