  1. Awesome game from him tonight. He was every where. Had a stretch where he stopped Ant, stopped KAT, deflected a pass, and got a great board in a string of possessions, all of which led to great offense. Ran the floor incredibly well, pressured dudes in the backcourt and defended the glasses as well. He’s adept at the little things. He’s already a great help defender. Him and Jakob are no joke.

Up until now, I wasn’t high or low on him. Just waiting for something like this. But, I wasn’t expecting a game like this. He was really impressive, on both ends. He can guard 2-5. Maybe not extremely well, but better than most.

Not to mention, he’s just a high IQ guy. Knows what to do with the ball in his hands, makes confident moves off ball, knows how to operate in space. He plays with his head up, and is not afraid to push it. For a dude with one of the worst looking jumpers on the league, he’s really has not been a huge negative on offense, at least this game.

Just a great game for a rookie. Very encouraged by this game. He looks like he’s going to a high impact guy. Idk, I guess I didn’t know what we had in him, but the flashes he showed in this game just make me excited.

  2. I know there’s always gonna be boxscore watchers that say we should’ve drafted x, but we got an unreal player at 9.
I know the 3-ball hasn’t been falling and he’s been a bit fumbly at times adjusting to the NBA game, but that’ll sort itself out with more and more rep. As a rookie though, his defense and effort is truely quite special.

  3. when’s the last time the spurs threw alley oops, much less 3 of them, this is hella fun

  4. Does this guy remind anyone else of a young Dennis Rodman or is it just me? Not talking about the hair. I mean like the way he actually plays and even how he runs.
