[NFL Philosophy] What’s wrong with the Buccaneers?

  1. > The biggest issue for Leftwich isn’t the specific playcalls themselves (RPO, inside zone, curl/flats, etc.), it’s more about his philosophy and approach to game design and macro-play-calling (run or pass, attacking weaknesses in defenses, etc.).

  2. One thing pointed out in this article which I’ve thought about alot. Bowels defensive philosophy excels when paired with a good offense. You can sort of say this about every defense, but as the author described, Bowles defense is built to force turnovers and get sacks. But other teams haven’t had to put themselves in a position where that’s likely because they don’t have to actually score.

  3. It starts out with the coaches. Leftwich and the strength and conditioning coach should be fired immediately. Todd Bowles is looking like he’s not the guy. Hate to say it but Brady personal life looks to be distracting the team, and finally the front office made a huge mistake signing players we don’t need. If they would’ve focused on getting a top notch front o- line, Brady would be making any receiver look like Wr1. And Lenny would rushing at least 80 yards a game.

  4. Complete lack of leadership from coach. He seems bored at all times and I get the impression he would rather be doing anything else besides coaching football. Ridiculous offensive game planning and play calling.
