Its a blessing and a curse because it makes it much harder to draft a top QB prospect, but theres teams like the Jets, Browns, Jags, Lions etc who bottom feed for decades without a legitimate QB

Ok so this is my colts head cannon right now that makes sense to me. Irsay was FURIOUS after last Sunday (as he should be). He told Reich it’s put up or shut up. RIGHT NOW. To which Reich responded “I know, but it’s been really hard just recycling these old guys instead of developing a young guy at QB. You gotta give me until end of NEXT season after we draft a rookie QB”. And Irsay goes “Fuck that, you’ve had your chances. We have a young guy on the roster RIGHT NOW. Start and develop him or you’re gone”. And Recichs like “not THAT young guy, I mean a first round draft pick”. And Irsays like “No. It’s now or never”.
