  6. I’m sure Clifford has a reason but Nick would’ve helped rebounding at the end there.

  14. Look, if we can almost win that with no LaMelo, no Terry, no Martin… we may be alright.

  15. Wish Clifford had gone with the bench more, our starters weren’t great and really struggled in overtime.

  18. In hindsight, do we think that Jalen should’ve taken that 3 instead of driving and getting blocked by Mitchell Robinson?

  20. I’ll take that. Yes the ending sucks, but we take a team to OT when we are missing a huge part of our offense to injury.

  26. The last two minutes in regulation were brutal. Can’t blow a 5 point lead and then when you somehow get a chance to win it in regulation everyone’s scared to shoot and it ends in a Hayward runner over Robinson. Nonetheless pretty impressed with the team considering who we are missing

  27. Tough loss. Brunson is an incredibly crafty, efficient player and makes a lot of difficult shots. We ran out of steam towards the end.

  29. I mean, the knicks are a good team, we looked lost on a lot of the possessions down the stretch when Dennis didn’t have the ball. We played some pretty bad defense, especially in the paint. We got our rebounded badly. Still took them to overtime without one of our best on ball defenders, one of our best and most consistent scorers, and our star player.

  30. Clifford made some pretty poor substitution choices but he has this team working on both ends. I really loved what I have seen coaching wise in that aspect. Now if Richards can actually get some more minutes that would be great.

  32. Team played hard and Cliff gets a lot of credit for that. But it sucks that Clifford 1.0 had to make an appearance at the end. The unnecessary timeout, the repeated inability to draw up a play, and the subpar close-out lineup were the same mistakes he made last stint. I feel he out-coached Thibs for 47:45.

  34. Tough outcome but this team is not the bottom feeder they were expected to be. They took the media darling Knicks to OT at MSG without Melo and Terry

  37. I felt like DSJ was holding back there at the end, trying too hard to be a team player. He was penetrating with ease on Brunson and finding dropoffs and kickouts.

    Maybe it was cliff trying to force it to Hayward, who was of course ice cold. Wish we wouldn’t have taken that timeout at the e d, but I get it’s a new team.

  38. Jalen Brunson is a dog. I hate him. Damn near every bucket he scored was a tough bucket. DSJ played good defense all night just for dude to make all the contested shots
