  1. No one’s saying he should start and get all the snaps. We’re just saying he needs to get practice in, maybe a few touches in game. Being left on IR does nothing. He doesn’t get any reps now

  2. It’s ultimately disappointing that we don’t get to see him play, but he had a long road ahead of him regarding carving out a role. He didn’t really return kicks or punts in college, spending only 2020 as the full time PR.

Chase, DJ, and Pickens aren’t moving or giving up reps. Sims and Gunner are competing for the KR/PR spot. Boykin is aces on STs. Just a lot of guys who actively have roles that would have to take fewer snaps at the cost of *maybe* seeing CA3 get 5 snaps a game.

Does he have stupid speed? Yeah. Could he help? Probably. Would he make a significant difference and maybe even hurt the other depth WRs by cannibalizing practice reps from? Most likely.

  3. Jet sweeps. The one trait needed for jet sweeps is speed, and he’s got it. That was the whole reason he was drafted, but I guess Canada still hasn’t figured that out.

  4. So are you saying he’s not good enough to contribute, or saying that Canada wouldn’t know how to use him?

  5. I just want to know the real reason he was put on IR. Was it health, performance in practice, did they not want another rookie on offense, or something else? Because from the outside it makes no sense.
