    Oh man, I hope I can watch the game today. I’ve been so busy 😭

  9. Dadonov is a sunk cost. We accomplished what we wanted by unloading Weber’s contract so we already won. I’d way rather we give the ice time to the players that are part of the long term plans instead of giving him ice time in the hopes we can trade him for at best a mid round pick. Don’t forget he’s got a limited NTC. Even if he starts playing well and Hughes cobbles together a trade, Dadonov could still scuttle it.

    Same applies to Hoffman. We didn’t accomplish anything by signing him, but he’s now a sunk cost and we need to acknowledge it and let the youngsters play and learn instead. The last 2 games of decent play don’t make up for over a year if lazy turnovers and selfish, poorly timed power play shots into traffic.

    I’d rather let Slaf and Pitlick get their minutes, and maybe give RHP and Ylonen a couple games before playing DadHoff again.
