  1. The way we’re playing Mariota is being treated like a rookie. It’s clear that Arthur doesn’t trust Mariota cause he can’t make certain throws. He’s a vet in this league who’s always been on the bench for a reason and he doesn’t synergies with Pitts. Matt Ryan might of looked bad this year, but he made Pitts a 1,000 yard receiver last year. Ryan was able to hit any of these throws, read defenses, and bring out the best in his top talents.

We’re not trading Pitts, so Mariotas gotta go.

  2. It really seems like Atlanta is fucking itself over. Short term success at the expense of the teams long term stability.

Tied to a QB that the Head Coach doesn’t seem to trust, but winning enough games that its going to be very expensive and difficult to find a replacement for him.

  3. I’m always going to wonder why the coach and GM would decide to spend two top 10 FRPs on receivers when Arthur has been 31st, 30th, 19th, and 31st in pass attempts when he has been OC or HC. And the next two years is going to be mostly the same game plan. That would be 4 years of Pitts contract and 3 of Drakes for this.

  4. Well said. I have been saying it for weeks. While Mariota obviously isnt the answer, our dated and rigid gameplan AS runs is stunting Pitts and Londons development. Ridiculous, if you cant get these two studs more involved. Are we trying to grind out a few more wins with Mariota and this lousy system or are we building toward future Super bowl runs? Not saying to tank, just develop our yound studs that we paid HUGE draft capital on. 1 target for London in a game we were down 21-0 is just unacceptable.
