The Indiana Pacers defeated the Brooklyn Nets, 125-116. Bennedict Mathurin recorded a career-high 32 points, along with 5 rebounds and 2 assists, while Tyrese Haliburton added 26 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the Pacers in the victory. Kyrie Irving tallied a game-high 35 points, along with 6 assists for the Nets. The Pacers improve to 3-4, while the Nets fall to 1-5.

  2. The team defensive problems are very astounding. The fact that they don't hover over players at the three point line is inexcusable.

    The nets need to be gritty more on the defensive side and try to break the opposing team offensive schemes by bring quicker on offense and defense

  10. Brooklyn is now 1-5. Blow up the roster and get rid of those Kardashians K.D and Kyrie, and fire Steve Nash. The Brooklyn Nets are overrated, overhyped, they should move back to New Jersey, and they are the Kardashians of the NBA.

  20. But guys let's talk seriously. The nets and the Lakers both are going through a lot of internal strife with disgruntled all stars, lack of defensive effort and not enough scoring .

    If the nets and Kyrie relationship dissolves after the latest drama could Sean Marks and Rob Pelinka come together and make a blockbuster trade?

    Brooklyn nets: Russell Westbrook Anthony Davis and two first round draft picks.

    Los Angeles Lakers: Kyrie Irving Joe Harris and Nic Claxton.

    At the end of the day the nets are lacking a center like Davis who has been LA best defender.

    Russell Westbrook meanwhile hasn't fit in LA at all and has no scorers around him for him to throw good assists at.

    Could a new big three of Kevin Durant Russel Westbrook and Anthony Davis give Brooklyn a new exciting direction?

  27. The Pacers tank was broke down again for the second straight night due to mechanical issues. Great win and 7 game losing streak against the Nets is snapped.

  29. Ok yup can't defend them no more Ben is straight garbage man it's like a bike u don't forget this much how to play. And I get they aren't healthy but the defense ain't there. They ened a defensive minded coach asap because nash can't coach for shit. Like get them an actual coach and I can see them then this around. Kd and Kyrie going off but they have almost no help. That shit is crazy

  33. Another frustrating loss for the Nets. They've got to communicate on defense especially when switching. They left the 3 point line wide open for Tim, Dick and Harry. Each player needs to stick with their man. Double teaming isn't always necessary. Also, the team needs to communicate more in general. When KD and Kyrie are ready to go off the team must be ready too. Ben was more aggressive on defense tonight and he set some good screens. ๐Ÿ‘Surely he needs to put up more points as he gets into form.
