  1. I’m sure our pitchers are doing the same… Robertson had a suspicious brown spot on the brim of his cap last night. No big deal.

  2. It definitely seemed like he was wiping his hand off at the end of the inning just now before the umpire inspection

  3. There’s a comment on that tweet that shows him wipe it in his hair then off on himself as he’s walking up to ump for the check. Just watched him do the same thing at the end of this last inning

  4. Rubbing the hand was suspicious, but it could just be sore. Whatever. Going back and looking at ends of innings, the way he treats his right hand is mad suspicious. Everything from the hair touching, only presenting his left hand for check(s), even the way he ajdusted his pants with that hand looks funny. Gotta be wrong though, right? No way you risk being that blatant with their history.

  5. If they want to address the issue they need to check both hands and they need to write it into the rulebook so the umps don’t have a choice.

It shouldn’t be on the managers to request the umps check.

Hell they should pay a guy to sit in a booth in every stadium and just watch the pitcher, and they can call for substance checks whenever they see something suspicious like this.

  6. It could be sweat, but I wish Rob asked an ump to check mid inning…. Even if it was just to throw off Valdez.

  7. Is there a reason why he switch to a different glove layer in the game? He used a brown glove here, but was using a black glove later on.

  8. Mlb has a vested interest that they never be caught. Or only exposed years after the series is decided. Crazy. Just a little something to up the revolutions on that breaking pitches for extra bite. Not like Astros were in a must win game or anything.

  9. I’m not acknowledging this or any Trasshtros win this entire series, including if they win the WS
