4. Rams haven’t been in LA since 1994 and much of that fan base hadn’t seen a winning team since their nfl championship back in 1951. Having a brand new stadium in LA also brings the attractiveness of a weekend getaway. Not to mention these season ticket holders and scalpers are making huge profit selling to whoever pays the most. Gonna take years of winning to completely take over the fan base in LA.

6. I hate to be the one to say it but give Rams fans a reason to show up to the game against the 49ers. Why would I pay $500 a ticket to watch my team get the shit kicked out of them every year?

8. Reminder that a lot of these fans were kids when Georgia Frontierre’s evil ass moved the Rams to Missouri, leaving them abandoned and ripe for Niners picking in the Young/Rice-era.

   It’ll take time for *today’s* Rams kids to grow up, have families of their own, and get tickets and show up to these matchups in the future.

9. Only way to turn this around is to win more championships. LA is a transplant city and the chargers/getting a 2nd team didnt help either.

13. I always went to the games when they first came here with my family, since sofi opened its ridiculous for something we used to spend $1,200 for is about $3,500 now would love to support but I get it, same goes with laker games

14. Nothing we can do now. We’re all just doing our part with support. However small. Yes, the fanbase is small for how large L.A. is. Thing is, this IS L.A. A lot of Angelinos are Niner fans. It is what it is. Us in the Ramily are gonna have to wait for the next generation to build support. All the millennials and a large portion of Gen Z, me included, grew up without a football team. I just didn’t support any team until the Rams came back. Others followed other teams. Just give it time.

19. I was at the game today. Rams fans are outnumbered like 8 to 1. Probably because we haven’t had a team in so long LA natives became 9ers fans

20. I don’t know why you think this is going to change overnight. LA sports fans are loyal to their teams and the Rams haven’t been in LA since 1994. Like it or not the LA rams are not the primary team for most Los Angeles Football fans.

    It’s gonna take time, and consistent success to win LA over.

23. To be fair the rams are a fairly new team don’t expect there to be much support now if they had a presence like the lakers or dodgers then it would be different. I know they won a sb but it not enough to cement those roots

25. Im not sure its just about many fans being 49ers fans from the last two decades. There are several sports, teams, and activities available to LA residents in general. Go somewhere where theres not much to do besides support the local team (even if its high school) and you will see the games packed with fans.

Don’t think this sub is where this should be posted – only the most diehard fans would take time out of their day to browse a subreddit lol, and I’m sure anyone here would go to games if they had the means. It’s just what happens when you leave a city for so long and just come back – gonna take a while to re-gather support. Winning Super Bowls obviously helps, but it’s still gonna take years. It’s annoying, but just reality.

I could never NEVER be that stupid & route for a professional sports team from another city , when I have MY OWN team to route for.. it makes no fkn sense. LA is full of fkn haters, & ONLY here does that shit happen… Go over to Wisconsin & see how many fans you see routing for other teams… like less than 10%
