  1. I love what Carr has given to the organization and I love that man… I just wish he didn’t have a no trade clause :/

  2. Yay we’re going for Justin Fields 2.0 I can’t wait to watch stroud shit himself every game.

  3. Most rookie QBs suck, though, even the hyped ones. You could end up with Trevor Lawrence instead of Josh Allen. It’s a lottery.

  4. The problem the last few years is the raiders have won just enough games to avoid being in prime position to draft a QB. I guess maybe 2019, but Kyler Murray was the only good QB coming out that year. Jones has turned it around but it took the right hiring to do so. I do think the best chance was 2020. I was really into the idea of drafting Jalen Hurts, but raiders had to use the Arnette pick to do so because they had no 2nd round draft pick.

This might be the year but that will involve the team completely collapsing this year. Plus I think this years QB class has some real studs. Not just Young and Strouds but a couple of other guys that have great potential.

  5. Yes, the Cardinals, Chargers, Bengals, Ravens etc all look AMAZING. Thats not even speaking about the teams that keep drafting QBs that dont turn out well. Trevor Lawrence was supposed to be the next Peyton and he cant do shit. Fields cant throw. Zach Wilson sucks. Mac Jones looks lost out there

  6. This class for QB’s is weak though. Just wait for Caleb Williams. We’re going to suck for awhile anyway.

  7. 2015: Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota (gone before Raiders first pick, 4th Amari Cooper)

2016: Jared Goff, Carson Wentz (gone before Raiders first pick, 14th Karl Joseph) Dak Prescott.

2017: Mitch Trubisky, Mahomes, Deshaun Watson (gone before Raiders first pick, 24 Gareon Conley) Unless you wanted Nathan Pete…oh.

2018: Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen (gone before Raiders first pick, 15 Kolton Miller), Lamar Jackson.

2019: Kyler Murray (Gone before Raiders first picks, 4 Clelin Ferrell 24 Josh Jacobs, 27 Jonathan Abram) Unless you wanted Daniel Jones, Dwayne Haskins, Drew Lock, Gardner Minshew or Jarett Stidham, who’s here already.

2020: Joe Burrow, Tua, Justin Herbert (who most considered a bust at the time btw) (gone before Raiders first picks, 12 Henry Ruggs and 19 Damon Arnette) Jalen Hurts.

2021: Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, Mac Jones (gone before Raiders first pick, 17 Alex Leatherwood)

2020: Kenny Pickett, Desmond Ridder, Malik Willis (Gone before Raiders first pick, 90 Dylan Parham)

The best QB the Raiders had an opportunity to draft was Lamar, in exchange for Kolton Miller who’s been solid. Even most of the QBs we didn’t have the opportunity to draft are…just ok (if that), turnover machines, or constantly injured.

  8. Cause Jamarcus, Justin Fields, Trey Lance etc. have worked out so well. Reaching just sets you back five years.

  9. They just stunk it up today. Sometimes you go 0-5 with three Ks. All this can play out when the year is over. The punter and 87 were the only two players to get off the bus today. If I’m the raiders coaches, I flush this game, move on to the jags.

  10. I’d rather try at least. Fuck sitting here for 9 years watching the same shit in a cup. Swing for a QB throw every penny at defense. At least make losing exciting. Thats the least this dumpster fire organization can do. They got comfortable being a fucking loser because delusional ass fans keep showing up. They don’t give a fuck about winning. They still taking our money.

  11. We need a good coaching on staff and GM … Most of our woes are not because of Carr. He isn’t the solution either. Untill this franchise learns to draft, and sign quality players we are not going to win anything. Ziegler could be a good GM but McDaniels needs to go as well. We need a true rebuild.

  12. Love to see the same old discussion here about how there’s no chance at the Raiders ever finding a better qb than Carr lol.

  13. Meh, let’s just go after the best defensive player available next year. There should be some studs next year, if we have a top 10 pick we should be able to draft a difference maker (hopefully). I wouldn’t have a problem with moving on from Carr except that we can’t trade him, might has well keep him, draft a QB to develop, and go from there

  14. God dammit I CANT live through another full rebuild. I have zero confidence that the organization has any chance at building from the ground up. The offense is good, today not withstanding. I see no reason to tear it down for at least this season and next season. If you want to draft a QB first round im cool with that, but we should definitely keep Carr until that guy is actually ready to play

  15. For some reason this sub acts like drafting a rookie QB would be the worst thing ever. Carr has not done enough to justify the job security that he has

  16. Carr reminds me of that one ex gf you hated breaking up with because she was so great yet for some reason you were either never really in love with her or just weren’t into her. it took you way too long to break up and you wasted most of hers and your own prime years but once you do leave, even though it’s hard for a while, it is worth it in the end because hopefully you found the person who is right for you. I think we are way harder on Carr than we should be and when he is finally gone we’ll look back at how horribly mishandled he was by this organization with all the bad coaches/gms/personnel and we will be left asking, what if? what if Carr like his brother before him had been in a better situation? Not hard to see that for Derek at least, his career stats would look much better and he’d likely have been to the playoffs a lot more. this is the fault of ownership and those people that owner hired to lead these teams and the franchise as a whole. Carr shoulders way too much of the blame he’s broken goods, broken by an owner who has unfortunately made the wrong choice time and again as to whom he puts in charge.

  17. Everyone I talk to said I was dumb as hell for saying the Raiders should done whatever necessary to draft Herbert. I watched some of his games at Oregon and I thought damn, that big kid slinging the ball would be fucking awesome on the Raiders. Smfh.

  18. Josh McDaniels has a fucked up history as a head coach. He still has the same problem. He only had success under belichek because belichek was the head coach. Just look at the fucked up play calling. Also Patrick’s defenses sucks.
