So happy for Jakobi making such an impact this year. From struggling to get his 1st career TD last year to leading the team in catches, receiving yards, and receiving TDs this year. LFG Jakobi

  1. I just hate that he might get ripped away this offseason. Us fans might need to start a gofundme to cover the difference from what the Pats are gonna offer vs what some other team is gonna throw at him lol.

  2. Won’t understand why people would be comfortable letting him walk. Sometimes you have to give a bag of money to good players. Consider the Pats’ history on developing wide receivers and tell me, do you want to dive into the bargain bin next year and get a guy who will likely be worse than Agholor, or do you want to keep Meyers around?

  3. I would be on the phone with his agent ASAP and be talking money right now. Meyers can move the chains. Classic Pats slot reciever. How many times has he bailed us our on 3rd down?

He may not be flashy, but he gets the results.

  4. We’ve likely got to keep him. I have a hard time seeing him get a big deal anywhere and the things he does for us are so valuable. We spent all this money to have Meyers still continue to be the most sure pass catcher on the roster

  5. Somehow this man is still incredibly underrated.

If he goes elsewhere next season, this WR group is going to take a HUGE hit.

  6. Give this guy a respectable deal damnit don’t nickel and dime him. He’s a sure thing, he’s so good. Keep him around/happy

  7. He was my favorite rookie of that Pats draft class and I knew I saw flashes of talent even though Mr. Irrational (Brady) wouldn’t accept him into his circle of trust. Kid’s exactly the type of reliable this offense needs.

  8. Better keep him. The only guy who is always reliable. Regardless of reason. We got rookies, naturally inconsistent, stuck in the doghouse, you name it.

But Jakobi is someone we need around

  9. The only thing missing was the TDs and now he’s getting those. Amazing to watch him grow as a player from that dude who flashed at moments in 2019 and was everyone’s preseason favorite.
