  1. They don’t look like a team who can go deep in the playoffs right now but let’s be honest it can all change very quickly.

  2. You can find all kinds of meaningless doomer stats like this if you look hard enough. We lost by 50 to the ja-less grizzlies last year in the playoffs and look at how much that ended up mattering. And yall out here freaking out over the first 7 games of the season lmao.

  3. I believe that Warriors had worst defensive and offensive rattings after All-Star week last year in history to win a championship.

  4. They’re the defending champs and they’re trying to incorporate their young players and figuring out rotations. At some point they weren’t going to be like previous Kerr teams while the young ones get floor experience. The important thing is that Kerr will adapt. Just because they don’t fit statistical projections doesn’t mean you give up on the season.

  5. Relax. Even if we’re a playin team we have a chance to win. Yalll panicking by game 7 is hilarious

  6. This is sort of a “duh” stat. Klay isn’t doing what he did pre-injury, and everybody else in the starting 5 (and Poole) are playing well.

But this Warriors team is really different from previous ones, especially versions with an active Andre running the second unit. The young guys are REALLY young, and if they are to develop it’ll take time. (And failure)

Warriors aren’t going to be a wire-to-wire juggernaut, but they can be championship-level good if one or two of these young guys (especially Wiseman or Kuminga) become more of what we hope they will throughout the course of the season.

    Hang in there.

  7. As many have pointed out, doomer stats can be found for eventual championship winning teams all the time. We were a .500 team from like game 25 onwards. How many championship teams had that sort of mediocre back end of the regular season?

We had a combined 3-9 record against our 3 western conference playoffs opponents if I’m not mistaken (and I think something like 4-10 when you include the Celtics). How many championship teams had that poor a record against their opponents?

  8. The team is terrible right now and early-season performance has the highest correlation to postseason success, but this one stat doesn’t really tell us anything. The season isn’t over, still
plenty of basketball to be played. We’ll see how things are going around the ASB.

  9. I don’t think this means much at all, we had a pretty average finish to last season, ended up #3 seed and then won it all..

  10. 22-23 Dubs will be first play-in team in history to win a chip! Now that’s breaking some new ground! haha

  11. Jesus christ you drama llamas are being willfully ignorant.

“We’re experimenting, running an 11 man line up trying to develop new talents.”

    /r/Warriors : THEY IN TROUBLE!
