I was in my hometown at a hole in the wall my friend managed. Place was packed when they have started, but by there time they started their come back the place had emptied. There were only 5 of us left when Salvy hit that liner down the third base line.

I was watching at the bar in Gram and Dun for most of the game, but had to be home before midnight to submit an online test for one of my grad classes. So I had to finish listening to it on the radio at home. Which sucked, because I didn’t get to see it in real time. Exciting either way!
I had to work for the first part of the game and then was at my apartment after the 8th with my ex and we screamed so loudly we got a noise complaint lol sad part is I could’ve gone to the game with my parents but couldn’t get off work
