More proof that MLB is trying to make people forget about the cheating.

The stat is objectively correct, context not included
Do steroids once you get banned half the season. MLB is inconsistent: is the WS Trophy just a hunk of metal? Or do we need to care about the integrity of the game?
At best, they’re a bunch of adults paid millions to play a schoolyard game but cheat out of greed, and at worst they’re cheating millionaires ruining a sport many hold sacred, and they screwed over many other players in doing so. Either way, they’re jerks and should’ve been banned.
Yeah, this is the stuff that makes me cringe. It includes THREE postseason runs where they used their cheating scheme. 2 of those seasons there’s a good chance they don’t even win their division without the cheating. It’s almost a 100% mathematical certainty they play less postseason games without cheating, which would lower all of these numbers… and most likely by a significant amount. The whole narrative of this “Astros dynasty” changes so much if they, for example, get bounced in the 2017 ALCS and get bounced in the 2019 Wildcard game.
Let the losers gawk though. Anyone who posts this on their network is dumb.

When MLB made the report public and announced the punishment, a friend asked me how MLB thought they’d get away with a slap on the wrist because people were so pissed. I said “Dodgers and Yankees were most publicly impacted so they know eventually they can convince people to get over it. If it were the 2016 cubs that got cheated, they’d never let them off so easily.”
It was clear at the time the report was released that they were in Houston’s corner. They didn’t provide much new information. Mostly shit they couldn’t deny because there was video. Remember, WSJ said it happened on the road too, and I hope nobody a believes they won a WS with their method then just decided to stop doing it.
MLB protecting those scumbags has me boycotting this shitty league

Why was shoeless Joe Jackson banned and these guys still have their trophy??
Altuve was 0-25 to start the playoffs and he’s only added 5 to that stat this year
Why isn’t there a * asterisk next to most of them?
No one can convince me altuve doesn’t have a vibrating butt plug sending him pitching signals like that one chess player.
It’s time to forget and focus on ourselves. We lost our chance at revenge this year. Just move on
