And unlike Velus, he can actually catch the football.
Oof velus catching strays in his retirement home.
Oh my god he’s younger. Also helps separate Mooney so he can get back on track
Im confident that Justin will right whatever character issues he has in the locker room. I think the FO knew that with Fields’ leadership that stuff isnt gonna fly. He is the undisputed leader which the steelers dont have.
A third of the league is younger than velus jones
I’ve watched alot of steelers games, they’re laughing at us for a reason………….
Darnell Mooney, Chase Claypool, N’Keal Harry, draft a WR in the first and you’re looking mighty better then you did starting this year.
N’Keal Harry is 6’4, Chase Claypool is 6’4, Cole Kmet is 6’6. Some big bodies for Fields to throw too, and that’ll help in the red zone.
The weak FA WR class is what really convinces me with this trade. We may have all the money in the world to spend but if some of the top available talents are Nelson Agholor, Sterling Shepherd, and DJ Chark it wouldn’t do us much good.
Just realized he’s #11… Wonder if he goes back to #83 from his Notre Dame days.
Anyone else hard ?
I love the trade I just don’t love that they traded what will probably end up being a top 40 pick for him. I’d rather they just drafted a WR with that pick than trade it for Claypool. Having said that I’m excited to see what he can do in Chicago.
Everyone is younger than Velus Jones Jr
I’m pretty satisfied. I always assumed we would use our cap space to build in the trenches.
Velus spat his tapioca pudding all over his commodore 64 reading this headline
I really hope he stops his stupid ego mistake bullshit. I’m excited to see what he can do to help Fields improve but a little worried about that side of him.
One JSN away from a top WR room
If he’s actually a difference maker , I’d actually buy his jersey
This allows us to focus more on improving the O-Line during Free Agency. Poles is playing 4D chess and I love it.
I would prefer the trade the Jaguars made for Calvin Ridley.
I just don’t think Claypool is that good.
Would’ve much rather gotten Moore who has already been paid and is better than any of the rookie 2023 WRs and is better than Claypool.
I’m excited about this. And everyone has a definitive opinion based on who Claypool is now. Let’s not forget he’s only been in the NFL during the death throes of Captain FatFuck the Rapist’s career and the Titty Kisser. I watched this guy and ND and loved him. I think he can grow and be better than what he’s shown thus far with JF1 throwing to him
Well, since Velus is 60, everyone is younger than him. 👀
Claypool is a stud.
Next step… Figure a contract
Chase Claypool for almost nothing over some bum WRs like Nelson Aghlor and DJ Chark is a huge win for the Bears.
Looking at our weakest position group (WRs) coming out of the offseason, I feel I can now comfortably say that it is better than what we had last year. Robinson has done nothing in LA and we’ve got mooney back in the slot and number two, and ESB has been a capable 4th wideouts who will have to split time with Pettis at the third WR spot. Plus we’ve got velus as a gadget guy and Nkeal as a potential high ceiling player.

Really impressed with Poles.
