Another big trade: Denver is dealing LB Bradley Chubb to the Dolphins for a package that includes the 2023 first-round pick that Miami acquired from San Francisco, sources tell ESPN.

  1. Trade terms, source tells ESPN:

    MIA trades:
    ⁃2023 1st (SF pick)
    ⁃2024 4th
    ⁃RB Chase Edmonds

    DEN trades:
    ⁃OLB Bradley Chubb
    ⁃2025 5th

  2. Funny that the biggest motivation for them doing this trade was to get that 1st back from Miami since we have theirs lol. Tanking doesn’t even do anything for them.

  3. This is excellent for us. Broncos tank and give us their 1st and 2nd round picks…

Let’s hope those are top-5 picks in each round!

  4. That’s a lot for Chubb, glad we didn’t trade for him

Love it for our draft positioning tho

  5. Haha who could’ve seen this happening this offseason when many broncos fans thought they were heading to the damn Super Bowl because they were just a qb away lol

  6. Broncos say he’s been injury prone and historically that may be the case but this season he’s played over 70% of the defensive snaps. Basically, they’re revving up their tank engines.

  7. I would have gladly traded our 1st next year, a 4th next year and Travis Homer for Chubb. Why didn’t they take it?! Chubb and Nwosa would have been insane.

**all the hate? What a bunch of bootlickers.

  8. Damn, that’s an incredibly good deal for the Broncos. Dude never seems to stay healthy and was a free agent anyways.

  9. Chubb is good. When healthy. That’s going to be the factor here. Worth the pick when he’s in the li.eul because he is a beast and worth a, most likely, low 20th overall pick.

  10. Keep tanking broncos country 😉

At least it look like they are admitting they got hosed in the Russell Wilson trade and trying to recoup as much as possible 😄

  11. I never thought I’d love seeing Russ lose, but damn this feels so right in so many ways.

  12. This is actually a good deal for Broncos. He was gonna walk next season or they would have to pay him a whole lot. Given their defensive line depth, a win win for both teams.

  13. RW went to the Broncos because he didn’t want to be on a “tanking” team. Now the hawks seem to have been rebuilt and the broncos are tanking, how the turntables have turned.

  14. Wow. Giving up on their season already.

I guess when you can barely beat Jacksonville it’s time to hang it up.

  15. I cannot overstate how much I despise this trade from a team building perspective

A 1st + 4th for an oft injured DE who isn’t even a #1 when he is healthy and who they will have to pay like a #1 because of what they gave up for him

Complete and utter incompetence in Miami

But yes, Denver gets worse in the short term and that’s awesome for us

  16. Isn’t that REALLY stripping Miami down to the bone? I mean, they burned through some (if memory serves) to get Tia, then more to get him WR support, now this?

  17. Great move by Denver to be completely honest. Trade the rights to pay the guy for a first rounder.

  18. Their GM is trying hard to aquire as many high draft pick as possible. Probably wanting to trade a 1st rounder and a 2nd rounder for a young QB named Lock. Haha!
