  1. I’m actually happy for Washington fans. I hate them but no one deserves to have their favorite team Owned by Dan Snyder

  2. Are they finally going to build us a new stadium for our away games against the Commanders?

  3. L for the division, but a gigantic W as he’s just a piece of filth. A truly awful human being.

  4. Someone mentioned that it’s possible he’s selling a minority stake to help finance the new stadium. Regardless how we feel about that team Snyder is scum and he needs to get the boot.

  5. I’m happy for Washington fans but not happy they could become a competent franchise again.

  6. Honestly that’s good for the league if he’s selling out instead of being a prick. The last thing the NFL wants is one of it’s owners being investigated by the Feds for fraud, sexual misconduct, and witness intimidation.

Snyder might be an idiot as far as football is concerned but there’s plenty of other incompetent owners who aren’t also terrible people. The Panthers and Broncos both were sold recently and they haven’t blown anyone away with great moves yet.

  7. Why does everyone want him to sell? He clearly drives the team into the ground, I would like that to continue.

  8. First thing the new owner should do is change the name again

EDIT: Preferably back to The Football Team

  9. Fuck Dan Snyder. It’s been nice basically not having to worry about them competing for a couple of decades, but I’d give that up 10/10 times if it means Snyder gets the fuck out of the league.

  10. I’m happy he’s not going to be involved in the NFL before, but sad he won’t be dragging down a division rival.

  11. I know from a competitive standpoint it’s good for us to have him stay Snyder is such a complete POS who belongs in prison that I’ll happily see him go even if it means Washington is more competitive down the line. Good riddance.

  12. Nobody is reading the article…

It says it could be to sell the team itself, or just a minority stake. I’d say its extremely likely hes not selling the team. Its likely so he can generate capital for a new stadium or something.

  13. If this is the eventual selling of the Commanders, I’ll be happy for football fans in Washington. No fan base deserves the kind of ownership that Washington has had the past 25 years.
