  1. Dude needs to go for 6th MotY. It’s an accolade that’s achievable for him, and will help the team win.

  2. Before y’all comment, we get it, you have zero confidence in any chance of this man being decent. Personally, however, I really do see the possibility that he can find his rhythm if we continue to play him how we have the last 2 games.

  3. I hope playing off the bench just gets him in a groove and lets him play more freely, obviously he’ll still need to be traded for this team to be at its best but I’d rather he leaves the team on a high note than everyone thinking he’s completely washed

  4. This whole situation isn’t about “omg they’ve fixed Westbrook and now he’s here to stay”

It’s about Russ not being a complete disaster to where they can get some value out of him on the floor and not get absolutely hosed in the eventual trade

  5. I like the idea of him playing 24-30 energetic minutes, instead of 36 super inconsistent minutes

  6. Watch Westbrook have a bad game today and everyone changes their tune back to trade him for buddy and turner

  7. Just like we shouldn’t overreact after 1 game of him doing horrible off the bench like vs the Wolves, we shouldn’t overreact after 1 game of him doing really well coming off the bench vs the Nuggets.

  8. Not going to pan out long-term. Dude wants to start so best find a trade partner down the road.

  9. I’m rooting for Russ. He’s accepted this role for now and is hustling on defense. Yeah his shooting sucks and decision making is questionable in late game situations but what more can you ask from him besides accepting 6th man role and playing his hardest when he’s in the game. Lots of respect to Russ for changing for the teams success even if they still suck.
