Here’s why people are frustrated with MLF

Look at this shit play design…he runs 3 receivers all in the middle of the field. Garret Wilson is running a slant directly at Conklin who’s sitting down in the middle. It’s pathetic.

For those who haven’t watched it yet, here’s Kurt Warner breaking down some of his horrible play design: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yYeHScO\_e0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yYeHScO_e0)

  1. Thank you for this still. It’s not all on MLF though

Zach is making some god damn BONE headed decisions. But MLF is hot and cold for me

I feel like Zach needs to scramble up field more when he rolls out. Don’t force a “big play” throw (that usually results in bad things) just run up field for 3-5 yards and slide

  2. Lafleur has been far from perfect whether it’s been some play design issues or personnel decisions. But I feel like we have to really get nitpick on the play design and it’s not common that there issues with any given play. But zach? It’s constant. Lafleur can do better but we can say that about almost every coordinator.

  3. I’ve seen this one video posted over and over again meanwhile you can find tons of videos of Wilson missing wide open guys

  4. It’s honestly insane how we’re basically speed-running Darnold year 3 with the same types of excuses. Offensive scheming *probably* isn’t spoon feeding Zach enough, but Josh Johnson in this offense probably runs it exactly as designed without major hiccups. It sucks to have a bad QB, but this is the same stuff over again. We need to see the Darnold Meter memes up again lol

  5. Yes, this play call is bad. However, it doesn’t take away from how bad Zach played last week. The play call wasn’t the issue, he’s missing receivers and he’s having horrible progressions throughout the field. MLF can definitely improve and find out what Zach is good because even against the Patriots he had some throws where you were like, he’s the guy

  6. A). How do you know everyone conducted their assignment correctly.

B). Hating MLF then loving him the next week is getting so old.

We get it Jets fans – you are tilting any way the wind blow. This sub is so polarizing it’s actually beyond gross and just humorous at this point.

  7. There looks to be a guy open for a quick check down if need be, the linebacker with leverage on the crossing receiver is in conflict between the three middle routes, and the seam looks like it’s opening up. Looks like there’s three guys with a good chance for completion at different time intervals. Not sure I get this complaint based on the picture

  8. This is disingenuous. MLF called a fine game, an average QB puts up 40 points on the Pats. There were constantly guys running wide open that Zach refused to throw, didn’t process fast enough, or decided to go on a fucking walkabout in a clean pocket.
