  2. * Khaira fought Lemieux, taking exception to a hit on R. Johnson along the board.
    * Dickinson redirected a C. Jones shot into the net.
    * Lizotte scored on an odd-man rush.
    * A C. Jones high-sticking double minor was negated, upon review.
    * Soderblom was solid.
    * McCabe tracked down a loose puck and passed to Toews for the OT GWG.
    * Toews has scored 5 goals in his last 6 games.

  4. are these wins good for the tank? no, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t having fun watching most of these games so far

    Toews has been looking like his old self lately.

    Always fun to beat the Kings. Miss those days of trading Cups.

  6. Sucks to pick up points tonight, but at least the Toews trade value is rapidly increasing

  7. I hope the team is able to pick up the pace a bit going forward. I think a lot of us were surprised to find early on that this team can actually be fun to watch, but the last several games have not been great showings.

    That said, I love when they pull through. By all accounts they should be outclassed by most of these teams, but somehow they’re putting up a fight most nights and eking out points that they have no business getting.

    Soderblom has been great and I think he should have a place on the team, and that pass by McCabe at the end was fucking gnarly.

  10. Jonathan Toews reminding the league how good of player he still is after the trashing he received last season makes me feel a different type of way.

  11. This has been the most pathetic attempt to tank at all time. The vets needed to be moved 2 weeks ago at this rate. Especially Mr. 10 million who played like ass the last 7 years of his contract and now wants to play all out again in his final year
