How much he cared about people, I got to talk to him a few times and we’d have these long conversations and he was a guy who seemed to genuinely be interested in what I would be saying he would treat me with the same respect I treated him with, he’s just super genuine
His fight. Honestly he would just keep fighting to be on the court and play as much as he could

Honestly? His grit. He cared about winning and trying his best at all moments! Despite coming up short, he tried. He legit wanted to win at all costs, and that’s hard to come by.

He opened some eyes here that needed to see true charity and judgement free acts.
I’m not sure when we’ll see that again from a public figure (I recognize a lot of stuff goes unseen, but the publicity helps the community).
The hope that I had his rookie season that we were finally going to have a super star here long term. Didn’t exactly pan out, but he still has the potential to be a top 10 player in the league.
How quickly he embraced Utah and Salt Lake City. His intelligence and desire to make a change.
