  1. Let’s keep this count going: Jazz are now 8-0 when scoring 55+ at half.

Every clutch game, a new hero. Tonight it was Collin’s turn. Which btw was only possible thanks to Hardy not being afraid to bench someone who isn’t playing well and running with the hot hand. I love it.

  2. Not maybe our prettiest game with all those turnovers. But once again even with bad plays we got the W. 79-3 dream keeps on living.

  3. I’m becoming such a fan of this team. I already have more faith that they will close out games than any team in the last five years.

  4. Does anyone wish for Walker Kessler to get more playing time? He looks really good whenever he comes out, especially on the defensive end.

  5. I don’t want this team to tank for Victor anymore, I now want to see this team win the championship

  6. Sadness. 111 for free food.

Markannen gets the clutch block and Sexton dribbles out the clock.

  7. Mike Conley looks rejuvenated so far this season, he seems to be much more in his element being the primary playmaker again. I bet having him as the undisputed leader in the locker room helps out team chemistry a bunch too.

  8. Ranking the Utah Jazz players on how much I like them:

    1. Jordan Clarkson

    2. Mike Conley

    3. Lauri Markkanen

    4. Jarred Vanderbilt

    5. Walker Kessler

    6. Collin Sexton

    7. Simmone Fontecchio

    8. Malik Beasley

    9. Talen Horton-Tucker

    10. Ochai Agbaji

    11. NAW

    12. Udoka Azubuike

    13. Kelly Olynyk

    14. Leandro Bolmaro

    15. Rudy Gay

  9. First win to have a less than 29 assist and 20 TOs.. kinda losing stats but they able to pull a win out. of it

  10. Lol just curious where yall’s heads are right now? Y’all still expecting to end up lottery chasing or are y’all just scrapping those plans now? Lmao. So fun to watch! Congrats y’all

  11. Honestly I think my biggest surprise so far is how incredible a leader Mike Conley is! I mean I’m a Mike guy! I love Mike! But he has definitely surprised him, keeping him around was a master class by the FO, or just lucky

  12. I love Hardy’s approach to finishing lineups. Go with whoever’s hot and whatever unit is playing well together. Even if that means JC’s not in the game.

  13. It’s interesting. The only thing I cared about Mike Conley was his trade value.

But he has really impressed me. He is a good piece for this team.

  14. Having not seen the game, is it at all accurate to say that at first Lauri could do anything he wanted, then the Clippers adjusted… and the Jazz adjusted back?

  15. GAME NOTES:

First half offense looked great. Hitting shots, moving the ball well, and defended everybody decently besides PG

Second half was sloppy. Lots of Clarkson ISO’s that led to bad shots

Kessler looks so good out there. He outplayed Zubac in their minutes vs each other, and I could see him starting soon

We missed Vandy. His defense and rebounding hurt us in our 3Q slump

In the 4th we attacked the rim like crazy. Everybody drove in and either converted or got fouled. Loved the energy

Sexton looks so good considering his major injury. A lot of players look hesitant to drive after an injury like his, but he is fierce and in attack mode. Tonight was his game

Minutes without Conley we struggled to play make. Nobody can create like he does

Rudy Gay looked terrible. Slow on offense, slow on defense, didn’t contribute much. I’d rather let Agbaji or Fontecchio have his minutes moving forward

THT still doesn’t look good. He hit a great 3 that spun Morris around, but that’s the extent of the good he did IMO

NAW didn’t look too comfortable out there either

Lauri needs to demand the ball more. He also played good defense on PG a few times. I don’t know if it’s Lauri not demanding the ball/plays ran for him, or if it is coaching, but everytime Lauri touches the ball good happens

Didn’t force a lot of turnovers, which lead to less transition buckets which is where we’ve been really good this year. I’m surprised we won tbh

Ultimately, our ability to draw fouls and actually *make* our free throws won us the game. All other metrics point to us losing that

    8-3 BITCHES

  16. Sexton’s post game interview was so good. Love to see his emotion and his respect for Mike. This team is special.

  17. This game would not have been closed if THT did not brick all his 3s. He needs to improve his shooting badly, all those misses were set shots..

  18. I literally cannot stop laughing at the narrative that the refs are helping out this Utah Jazz squad. 😂

  19. Sexton is wearing a shirt with 7 different flannel patterns during the post game press conference. There are zippers between each pattern. I think/hope he has a closet full flannel that he can mix and match this shirt as he likes. It still has the traditional buttons in the front. This man is truly next level.

*Edit: THERE ARE ZIPPERS HALF WAY DOWN THE SLEEVE! This shirt could be short, long, or no sleeves. It could be a vest. It could be the inverse of a vest. So many options.

*Edit 2: The shirt is a metaphor for the team.

  20. Yo Clarkson the real MVP cheering from the bench. love Coach Hardy and his million different rotations

  21. Sexton’s boing off that Olynyk assist in the 4th was nuts. Kid’s so athletic and his energy is a blast.
