  1. If that’s not the most damning statement that a quarterback can make in hopes that a listless administration will take heed then I don’t know what is.

  2. True words 🤣. Regardless of the play calls, our WR group right now is…something.

  3. I was soo off the obj thing but after last night sign him. We need some one who can get open. If the titans aren’t working out at least 5 receivers this week then I will start throwing stuff.

  4. Matt Ryan got bench with a better qbr than Tannehill, We need more than Henry on offense

  5. At this point it seems 50/50

Is the WR group not great? Yes
Is Downing incapable of scheming these guys open? Also yes

I get they can’t get great separation, but you would think Downing has some high completion % passes to get Willis’s confidence up, get some flow to the offense.

Neither the OC or the receivers were helping out the rookie QB

  6. Its been two fucking games Malik and you are hardly blameless.

Just a really bad look even with his limited media exposure. No reason to put something like this out there.

Hes not wrong about our WR group though.

  7. Can’t keep doing what? You haven’t done shit.
Edit: why am I being downvoted, he literally did shit last night. And he’s too new to be talking about “I can’t keep doing this”

  8. This comment is muy picante 🌶, but he also went on to say:

    >“It is a team sport,” Willis added. “I miss throws sometimes. I can’t be mad if someone doesn’t make a play. We are not perfect. We all make plays, and we all miss plays. It is the way the game goes. You can’t be mad at them because of that. We are one team, and if I did that, that is disrespectful and just arrogant. I make mistakes as well.”

  9. Puhlease. The receivers aren’t great, but Tannehill has found options. Willis needs to a) accept his own responsibility in this (he has zero pocket presence and panics as soon as the line breaks down and b) not throw his teammates under the bus. Because let’s be as honest as Willis seems to want to be…he’s a shitty qb that is struggling to make basic reads. The offense is dumbed down because of him, not because of the wideouts. It’s not his fault because he was never asked to do more, but this is the nfl. If he can’t learn to process info faster, he will be another highly touted athletic qb that couldn’t get it together at the next level.

  10. On that first sack he has the right side open but doesn’t take it that’s my concern.

  11. He didn’t throw anyone under the bus. He took the blame as well as mentioned that it’s a team effort to win or loose. People need to get over this nonsense of getting offended when someone gives an opinion about anything.

  12. Willie made improvements this week. I feel we had the game despite the horrible officiating AGAIN. Stay positive. Most ppl in this group were very negative about Willis’s 2nd start and he did an ok job. Thank God he has legs so he was able to slip out.

  13. Willis hangs on to the ball way too long. He’s too afraid to pull the trigger and too quick to try and run when he has nowhere to go. Tannehill consistently connects with 4+ receivers a game. Willis is a rookie and it absolutely showed. A receiver shouldn’t have to be wide open to even try.

  14. willis needs to shut the fuck up. The wrs aren’t the best but you weren’t hitting simple plays dawg
